15 November 2020: A mile-long convoy of more than 150 trucks, jeeps and cars made the joined in this effort to help out the Island Harvest Food Bank with needed donations in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The “Turkey Run” food drive participants contribued 137 Turkeys plus 15 pallets of non-perishable food items to help make the holiday brighter for folks in the community …

COMING UP SOON:
The 5th Annual 2020 Ladies Offroad Challenge started on May 4th, then took a long “pandemic pause” before resuming in an abridged form the last week of November. The challenge is normally designed to allow participants to succeed at a series of tasks while learning and stepping outside their comfort zones. The abridged version of the Challenge offers a set of activities that can be completed easily from home, simply encouraging the ladies to “Do the Best They Can”. Those who complete the entire set of Challenges by the December 7th deadline will receive a “Golden Ticket” to attend one of the LON adventure events or take an online course for free. 12 additional “winners” will receive Golden tickets via a series of drawings during the annual “Twelve Days of Giving”…
Holiday road trip time. Getting ready to load up the Jeep and heading south for warmer climates and fun times on- and off-road (and maybe discovering some new places on the way). This year we are taking a bit of extra time to explore the wilder side of Florida’s “Forgotten Coast” as we make our way to our Christmas Camp…
Looking ahead to a return to Paris as soon as possible to reconnect with friends and some favorite places in the city of light. Timing is still uncertain due to the pandemic, but we hope the trip is back on the calendar for early 2021…
Planning for the next extended overland adventure in the southwest, tentatively on the calendar for some time late winter 2021. There are already several tentative events on the agenda in Arizona and southern California, and we will share more details as things get confirmed…
