30 JUNE 2017: Long summer days and warm summer nights have the crowds out on the cafe terraces everywhere. In the 10eme the streets are packed late into the evening as folks enjoy the little pleasures of friends, music, and always interesting conversation. The “city of light” still inspires afterall…
21 JUNE 2017: Back in Paris for a couple of weeks to reconnect with friends and favorite places. Always good to be here for the long days of summer when daylight lasts until well after 10pm. Getting out and about in the old neighborhood…
11 JUNE 2017: Spending an increasingly rare block of time back home. Had a chance to catch up with some friends and work on developing a few new and exciting projects. The energy of the city is always good for stirring up ideas and making things happen. Now to put the plans into action and get back out there…

This conference brings together diverse groups working to connect local communities with travelers or otherwise promote sustainable travel, as well as international organizations like the UNDP, in a focused forum to share ideas and experiences…

Heading back to the southwest for some very hot desert time later this summer, with some familiar trails and a few new destinations to explore.
Trail Guiding for the 9th annual Topless for Tatas Charity Wheeling Event at Rausch Creek off-road park 11-13 August. TFT brings together off-roaders from all over to raise awareness about Breast Cancer and raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Last year’s event raised over $30,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation…
Planning is underway for a scouting mission into a new region of exploration for USnomads — the famed Silk Road across Central Asia. More details to come as specifics are worked out.
